Petra: The Treasury, you might remember a guy named Indiana visited here once.
Here are some things to do now to get ready for the trip.
1. Remember you will need a Passport, you can start the process at your local post office.
Here is some more information, http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html
2. You need to get your $500 deposit to me the first week in November, please make a check payable to Cross Culture Travel and Tours. You can put it in my campus mail box at KCU which is Box 2001, or mail it to me at Dr. John Wineland, Department of History, KCU 100 Academic Parkway, Grayson, KY 41143. If you have any questions about this or concerns feel free to email me at wineland@kcu.edu or you can call me at 606-474-3178.
3. You do not have to take this trip for credit but if you do you should sign up at PreRegistration for the course which is labelled BHI 422 New Testament Archaeology with Field Trip which has a fee attached which pays travel portion of the trip. This way you can apply any financial aid that you have to the trip. This trip can count for 3 hours History credit or 3 hours of either OT or NT elective. If you need more hours or different hours something might be able to be worked out.
